For this exhibition, artists are invited to reinterpret playing cards as creative surfaces. Each artist is free to intervene on a single card or to imagine an entire deck, using drawing, painting, collage or hybrid practices.

The cards become artworks in their own right, standing at the crossroads of image, symbol, storytelling and the rules of the game. The exhibition explores the playing card as a shared cultural object: playful, popular and deeply shaped by a codified visual language.

The exhibition will take place at EREV Concept Store, 38 rue Notre-Dame de Nazareth, 75003 Paris, from July 3 to August 29, with an opening on July 2.

Featuring works by Boukko, Fleur Julliat, Nayv, Margaux Pastor, Yan, Milou, Tinca and Pamela Tamby.

Maison Grimaud, a luxury playing card brand, has the honour of being a partner of this exhibition.
